Inside the tunnel, an array of nozzles arranged in a surrounding layout ensures that when containers enter along the track, they are subjected to water curtains from all directions. High-pressure spraying removes stubborn stains attached to the containers, while high temperatures are used for sterilization. At the end of the tunnel is a dewatering section where containers are air-dried and heat-dried to meet quality standards for immediate use.
To ensure the quality of decontamination and sterilization, the cleaning process is divided into four stages: pre-wash, main wash, rinse, and final wash, each with distinct characteristics and functions.Pre-wash features high temperature and large water flow (the most nozzles), aimed at sterilizing, removing grease, and softening stubborn residues.Main wash features high temperature and high water pressure, aimed at deep sterilization and powerful decontamination. Rinse features high temperature but a short duration, aimed at rinsing off contaminated water from the container's surface. Final wash features ambient temperature and high-quality water, aimed at restoring the container to a clean state ready for immediate use.
To improve water resource utilization, the equipment is equipped with a three-tier separate tank system. Each tank supplies water to a specific cleaning stage, and after use, the water is recycled back into the corresponding tank for filtration and reuse. Pipes connect the tanks so they are interconnected. Tap water is introduced externally for the final rinse and then enters the tank system, raising the water level in the upstream tank. The water subsequently flows through pipes into the midstream and downstream tanks, replenishing water levels and purifying the water quality. Contaminants floating on the surface of the downstream tank are continuously discharged from the system.
At the end of the tunnel is the container dewatering section, where air dryers and heat dryers are used to remove residual water from the containers. The air dryer is equipped with a self-developed wind knife device that also adopts a surrounding layout. It can convert the airflow generated by the compressor into a high-speed air curtain in sheet form to strip off the remaining water on the container surface. The heat dryer has an additional heating device that utilizes the heat from the air curtain to accelerate moisture evaporation, thereby improving dehydration efficiency.
